- What do I need to rent?
- All renters must be at least 21 years old. You must have a major credit card, which will be used for your deposit. You must show a valid drivers license with a photograph and proof of full coverage insurance when you pick the vehicle up.
- Drivers License Record?
- You must not have had your license revoked, had a DUI, suspension or other criminal conviction in the past five years. We do run DMV reports on all renters.
- What hours are you open?
- We are open 24/7, we want to provide the best customer service for all our clientele.
- Do you only rent in Tampa?
- Our vehicles are available for pick up and drop off at the tampa location, however if there is a need for delivery we can arrange this. We can pick you up at the tampa airport, hotel, or any of the surrounding areas of tampa for a fee. Just call with you itinerary and we will be happy to help. We also offer one-way rentals which are based on the length of the rental.
- Do I need to make a reservation?
- To guarantee the car of your dreams we recommend making a reservation as soon as you know when you will need the vehicle.
- How do I make a reservation?
- To make a reservation we will need to run a credit card for authorization and verify which insurance will be used. You can supply necessary information over the phone at 813-526-1092 or fill out the online reservation form and fax it to us at 813-891-0728. We will contact you by phone or email to confirm and guarantee the vehicle of your choice, with exception of any unforeseen circumstances, all information is confidential.
- Do I need a credit card to rent a vehicle?
- Yes, all renters must present his or her valid credit card with name matching drivers license. A credit card authorization approval will be requested prior to rental agreement for a deposit. This is only an authorization not a charge. Our deposits range from $1,500 to $10,000
depending on the vehicle. We accept Visa, Discover, American Express, MasterCard. Final payments or damage will be charged to the authorized credit card. If the customer wishes to make final payments by cash we will except.
- Is there a processing fee?
- No
- Is there a reservation deposit required?
- Yes, a $150 deposit will be required to make your reservation and will be credited towards your rental.
- Do you except cash deposits?
- No, cash deposit is not accepted.
- Do you accept debit cards for the damage deposit ?
- Yes, how ever if you use your debit card for the damage deposit, please bring the phone number of your bank so we may release the damage deposit when the rental is completed.
- What if I need to cancel my reservation?
- If we are notified before the fifth day prior to your reservation you will avoid a 50% fee of your rental, If we are notified 48 hours prior to your rental you will be charged 100% of your rental agreement.
- What is the mileage charge?
- The customer is entitled to 100 miles per day. Additional mileage thereafter ranges from $1.99/mile and 1.07/mile depending on the vehicle.
- Is there a refueling charge?
- No. However, when you do gas up, all vehicles must be refueled with premium grade (93+ octane) gasoline. You must present gas receipts when the vehicle is returned. There is a $350 fee for filling up with a lesser grade or without receipt.
- How and where do I park the car?
- Vehicle must be locked, convertible top up (if applicable) when vehicle is not attended. The vehicle must be stored in a secure garage at night. Do not allow anyone who is not authorized to drive the vehicle at any time this includes parking attendants.
- Am I responsible for tickets or fines?
- Yes, the renter is responsible for any tickets or penalties received while the vehicle is rented. Renters will pay all fees, penalties and costs when vehicle is returned. Renter must pay a fee for towing charges or impound costs.
- Can I Smoke in the Vehicles?
- No, there is no smoking allowed in any of the vehicles. There will be a penalty charge of $200 deducted from your deposit if the policy is violated.
- Can I have pets in the vehicles?
- No, pets are not allowed in the vehicle. There will be a minimum cleaning fee of $200 deducted from your deposit for deodorizing and cleaning.
- Can I Tow things?
- There is no towing of any other vehicle or vessel with your rental vehicle.
- Can I take the vehicle out of State?
- No, all vehicles must remain in the state of Florida.
- What are Prohibited uses?
- The vehicles may not be used for:
* Any illegal purpose or in connection with any illegal activities
* To operate vehicles while under the influence of any alcohol or drugs, prescription or other
* On any surfaces of dirt or gravel.
* By anyone not licensed to drive or anyone whose license has been restricted or suspended.
* To exceed any posted speed limits or racing
- In the event any of these violations occur we reserve the right to disable the vehicle and retrieve the vehicle at any time.
- What if I'm in an accident?
- In case of an accident seek medical attention if needed. Contact us immediately so we can assess the accident. There must be a police report filed for any accident, injury or not.
- Orientation
- We require all first time renters to have a short 10 minute overview on the vehicle they are renting. This is done so you can drive the vehicle in a safe and efficient manner.
